Is Black Beetle losing his touch? When he first appeared, he took down Superboy, Wonder Girl, Bubblebee, Robin III, and Lagoon Boy. When he went up against Blue Beetle, in my opinion, he won by a hair. His next battle fighting Blue Beetle, Robin III, Impulse, Arsenal, and Green Beetle his armor was severely damaged by Arsenal's laser beam. No one else except Green Beetle and Blue Beetle were able to scratch him. Finally, with him up against Arsenal, Virgil, Asami, Ed, Tye, and Mongul, he had the advantage until Mongul attacked him. With Reach weaponry, Ed and Arsenal were able to damage his jetpack and Mongul was left to subdue him.
So again, after three conflicts, has Black Beetle lost his touch? Or was he simply over powered? I leave this…Read more >
It dawned on me after watching Runaway's for the 100th time: can the liberated abductees power come from their inner person?
Take Tye for example. He was pretty much a nobody in his household because of Maurice so he ran away. Yet, ironically, Tye's ability is to create an astral form larger than himself. Could this mean that deep down Tye wanted to be the "big man"?
As for Ed, he ran away from his home(s). His power is teleportation. Could this be a base for his power as well? The power of teleportation to escape from things seems similar to running away now doesn't it?
To me, Asami's powers are debated; wether it's wind or sound she uses. I personally say it's sound but that is for the producers and writers to know and for us to find out. I…Read more >
If Green Beetle changed the Scarab's settings, which gives Jamie full control, which mean that the Reach apocolypse is avoided, right? If the apocolyse is avoided, then Impulse never went back in time to stop Jamie so he wouldve dissappeared. So this can only mean...
What Green Beetle did was not efficent enough to stop the Reach apocolypse. The physics of time travel was always confusing to me.Read more >
For those of you who have yet to watch "True Colors", this is your warning.
In the episode, the Green Beetle, whose name I did not catch, told Jamie that there was another way of removing the Scarab. As we all know far too well, Martians are expert telepathic users. Is it possible that the Green Beetle "negotiated" with his Scarab via telepathy to reset its original programming? If so, then does this mean that M'Gann, J'onn or the Green Beetle can talk to Jamie's Scarab to avert the "Reach apocalypse"?
Thoughts and opinions are welcome.Read more >
With the return of YJ, the DC Nation block did a small data entry on Cyborg and his history and I'm 99.99% sure they said "...joined the Justice League..." and portrayed him in a Young Justice style animation.
Will Cyborg join the JL in the future or is this just non-canon? I'm hopeful the rest of you saw/heard this.Read more >
