Okay, back from vacation -- sorry if I've lost track of the comment threads (this site is much better populated than when I started posting a year and a half ago -- hard to keep up). In case nobody's pointed it out...
KALDUR IS THE MOLE!
Okay, LAST season I was wrong about Kaldur being the mole. THIS season I'm right -- you'll notice he didn't actually do anything evil in that episode -- and even warned the League about their danger in time for them all to get out.
So you see, I was right! He is the mole... just not a mole in THE TEAM. (Okay and he's not a clone)Read more >
As I've said elsewhere, my theory is that Kaldur is a "The Light" clone who was substituted for the real Kaldur during Infiltrator. In the pilot the Light was going to clone the captured sidekicks, copy their memories, and replace them. I postulate that the cloning samples were not completely destroyed and that G-gnome who was in the Cave in YJ Issues #1 and #2 was a possible way that they got access to Kaldur's memories telepathically. I also postulate that clone-Kaldur is something like immune telepathically or a telepath himself and possibly a much more able sorcerer than original Kaldur. So he was not taken out telepathically in Bereft, he was faking, he did not put on the Fate Helmet (which is why he could take it off), that was faked…Read more >
Great episode -- more than redeems last week's IMHO (well except for the veiwpoints that made no sense as part of a simulation) -- As a two-parter it works. THIS was the episode conclusion I was missing.
On to good stuff -- Yay! 4th World. Nice and appropriate uses of "Anti-Life" and Mother Box. Really interesting take on the Forever People. Highlight for me-- YEAH give Serifan six-guns! I NEVER got what Kirby was going for with that choice (I mean, I KNOW they're hippies -- peace, love, and flower power -- but CMON he's a COWBOY who uses MAGIC BULLETS and he doesn't carry guns?)
Interesting take on Infinity Man -- I'm perfectly OK with this (as a "person" IM was always kinda pointless -- aside from spouting corny monologues he had no defini…

Okay, I'm writing this up as a blog post to pull together a string of thoughts I had in another blog comment thread.
New Theory -- because Red Tornado wasn't the mole. This started as a joke and then it made more and more sense.
Kaldur is the mole.
Here's the deal. We know Kaldur is Black Manta's son because Greg Okayed that as a leaked secret. Suppose Kaldur has been an agent of the Light all along (either knowingly or as a "hidden personality sleeper agent" unaware of his mole-ness).
First of all, the Light always works through mis-direction. Whatever you think they're doing is only a cover for their REAL plan -- like the prison break that was really to get Hugo Strange put in charge of Belle Reve.
So if Kaldur is the mole, suddenly Sportsmas…Read more >
Hey if anybody is interested, I made the following comment in a Superman thread on FARK. I decided I liked it and since I've been running a blog over here on Young Justice Wiki, I decided to copy it (Hey, Superman is a character on the show).
This is my SF explanation for Superman -- my closing line is "It's not canon, but it should be"
Dont' bother reading if you don't care.
The Kryptonians were created by the transcendent nanotech/picotech/femtotech/attotech alien intelligences that occupied Krypton's stellar system.
They created humans that duplicated Earth life as part of their consideration process about the next emerging intelligent species in the galaxy (humans from Earth). The humans of Krypton were integrated into such a portion of th…
