Ok, I just rewatched True Colors, and the end makes me suspect that the Light number one knows a lot more than they're telling, and number two trust the Reach about as far as they can kick them. Does anyone else find it suspicious that Vandal Savage corrected Luthor's comment about "one bottle holding everything the body needs" to "everything the Reach needs it to need"?
And they seemed to know that the team was going to hit the lexcorp farm and take a sample of the additive, but they did nothing about it. This implies to me that there's dissension in the ranks. Could the Light be once again playing the long game and planning to betray the Reach after milking them for every drop of technology they've got? Could they be secretly hoping that …Read more >
Ok, here's a question I'm sure everyone wants to know the answer to: What happens to Jaime that he betrays the Earth to the Reach?
My thoughts on the matter: What if it's not really Jaime in the Blue Beetle armor that hands over the Earth to the Reach? We know Jaime wants the burden of the scarab off his back (literally), and we also saw someone shooting a red laser at a VERY angry Black Beetle in some of the promos, in an area which looked suspiciously like the Watchtower. If the League does manage to get the scarab off Jaime, then wouldn't they keep it in the most secure facility they have, the Watchtower? And if the Reach got wind of the scarab's successful removal, wouldn't they then try to reobtain the scarab so that they could put it …Read more >
I'm a bit curious about The Reach. How long have those sneaking cybugs actually been here? I could just be a mile out in left field, but their involvement might explain bloody near everthing the Light's been up to, ESPECIALLY Starro-teching the league and sending them to Rimbor. I mean honestly, how did the Light even know about Rimbor? And how would they have known that was a good planet to send the league to in order to make them galaxy wide wanted criminals?
Now that I think about it, how did they know that Starro was a psychic species with a propensity for mind control? Did Vandal Savage encounter it before it got frozen into a block of ice? Or had the Reach encountered that particular species before and told the Light of its capabiliti…Read more >
Ok, so recently I've been into the ideas presented by Justice League Crisis on Two Earths, and I had a radical thought, what would the team be like in the Crime Syndicate's universe?
Would the members be CS universe versions of our team, or would they be somebody different?
And if they were CS versions of the team, what would they be called and how would they be different?
For those who don't know, the names of the CS universe versions of the original teams mentors were: Owlman, Johnny Quick, Jedd "The Martian" Jarkus, Ultraman, Archer, and since an evil Aquaman wasn't featured in JLCIS, I'll use one of his previous CS incarnations, Barracuda.
Our votes are in on what to call a Crime Syndicate Universe version of six of our eight original team…Read more >
So, here's a fun idea that I'm sure we've all entertained at leaast briefly on at least one occassion, but I've never seen discussed on the wiki:
If you could have the powers and/or abilities of anyone from the team, the league, or the light, whose powers/abilities/gadgets would you want, why, what would you call yourself, and would you be a hero or a villain?
Also, just for kicks, and this is a completely different question, if you could swap places with any of the characters from the beginning of their run on the show (and let's say you had their backstory too whether we've heard it yet or not) to the present, again, who and why? You do get that person's powers/abilities, but not their personality.Read more >
