Spelling[]

I'm locking it for move until we have the official spelling from the credits. --Tupka217 15:26, May 26, 2012 (UTC)

Oh i didn't mean to miss spell it —The preceding unsigned comment added by Sj23crozier (talkcontribs)

At this point, there is no right spelling. --Tupka217 15:31, May 26, 2012 (UTC)
My captions say "Tye", but they've been known to be wrong. -- Noneofyourbusiness 19:10, May 26, 2012 (UTC)
Another initial concern was the spelling of the surname, but that's settled. However, it's pointless to move to "Tai Longshadow" now, because we'll then have to move it again to "Tye"/"Ty Longshadow". Wait for the HD. Or Greg. Whichever comes first. --Tupka217 19:12, May 26, 2012 (UTC)
I'm pretty sure it's Ty. KurtW95 04:54, May 27, 2012 (UTC)
Gweisman says it's Ty Longshadow, good enough for me. --Tupka217 08:20, May 27, 2012 (UTC)
But Greg Weisman can be a dope sometimes though. It's "TYE". I knew "Tai" was wrong and wrote "Ty" without checking. (Shows how long ago we worked on scripts.) But I just double-checked and the correct spelling is ""Tye". Sorry. ----Gweisman 08:29, May 27, 2012 (UTC)

Tye's power's and emotional state[]

"Tye's control of his ability's is effected by his emotional state, making it difficult to use them if he is agitated, or nervous. He currently has trouble controlling his abilities. They tend to activate when he is sleeping." It could be a bit of an assumption, I admit, but Nathaniel Tryon out and out said he can' control them yet. He does show improvement towards the end, which is why I said trouble. I got the emotional connection thing from his attempt to calm down and focus, before rescuing Blue Beetle, and it was kind if already said I just reworded it. As for the sleeping activation thing, he seemed to be sleepwalking the first time we see them, and he said: "not again" so it seemed like there may be a tendency. If that's not good enough than I won't press the subject. - Arch angel gabriele (talk) 02:26, February 5, 2013 (UTC)
