  • I know you have a right to your own questions and that it's none of my business, but I imagine that you've probably been on Ask Greg long enough to know that he doesn't do hypothetical questions.[1]

    • Well, one down... Maybe by the time he answers that, it won't be hypocritical and he will have an answer.

    • It always sounded like Greg would drop everything to work on YJ (and probably any show he'd love to see come back), and that's proven obvious, since he's already working at Nickelodeon (and I don't mean he's dropping all of his prior commitments, but you know what I mean).

    • Sorry, wrong choice of words.  His goal was basically to use the Planet as his own personal spaceship.  To do it he needed to take control of the Lifestream; this can be done by inflicting a massive wound on the Planet using a meteor.  Of course, this would have murdered the inhabitants of the whole planet.

    • Ha I know I was trying list only the weirdest ones. Yeah thats what the thing about the silver age they just didn't care, they just threw it in to fit the story.

OK i will try and rewrite it.

Also hopefully we can put together a list of Silver Age powers on DC.WIKIA one day.

  • Zergrinch-san, I have a question. I started watching anime again and I finally confirmed that it's "yatsura" and not "yasura" (Asami: Yatsura ga kuru). I remembered what you said about accuracy. Can we change it? Or do we have to stick with the provided translation?

    • Greg's scripts are more phonetic than accurate.  For example, we did not spell "tasukete" the way he did, with an "h".

So if you are really sure about it, go ahead and correct it.

  • Well, I finally caught up with all the issues, and guess what? I'm whelmed. Really, it takes everything I hated about Lost and stuffs it into a neat little pompous package of cryptic recurring phrases, extremely unlikely protagonists, overly-sadistic-and-vicious-for-no-apparent-reason antagonists, lots of build-up and stalling for real answers. Ironically, issues #26 and #27 sort of made up for some of my frustration, especially #26, but if we don't start getting some real answers, I won't bother with them for a while. I already had plenty of build-up that led nowhere on Lost. I don't need a second serving spread over 3 to 5 years, thank you very much.

    • Ah well, that is a pretty common, and quite valid criticism of the series. I've been mapping the timeline a bit for the wiki, and it's clear that Nick Spencer isn't quite as meticulous or thorough as Greg Weisman when it comes to plotting out the nitty-gritty.

I do agree it's best taken in large doses instead on a monthly ration. I'm hoping they will shed some light on Abraham's machinations in the next issue. But Spencer's done bait and switch before!

  • Hi i do not know if anyone has said this before but has anyone thought of trying to get Cartoon Network to air the next seasons episodes online or a straight to DVD instead of getting them to start a new season when hemlock grove was cancelled they put all un aired episodes online for the fans of the show which was a good idea and I know for a fact that young justice has much more of a fan base than that show.

  • Disclaimer: My following question is a little bit random, I realize. Haha! :)

Do you know if there is anywhere online that I can watch all of the Young Justice episodes? I cannot find them on Youtube, and my other searches have been fruitless. I would like to rewatch them all in order now that the second season is over, but I am so far unable. If you have any helpful information or ideas, I would be most thankful!
