Jimmy Olsen[1] is a photographer for the Daily Planet.

Physical appearance

Jimmy is a young, freckled Caucasian male with red hair that is spiked upwards at the front, and blue eyes. He is often spotted with his camera given his occupation as a photographer.

Jimmy accompanied Clark Kent to a trip to Qurac. They stopped by the Logan Animal Sanctuary where they met Marie Logan and her children. The daughter's boyfriend looked familiar to Jimmy.

After the introductions, Clark and Jimmy left for Dhabar, where they planned to cover Rumaan Harjavti's impeachment hearings.[2]

Jimmy met up with M'gaan and Superboy, and took pictures of the Quraci president during his speech.[3]

Jimmy and Clark covered Noor Harjavti's democracy rally for the Daily Planet. They met up with their old acquaintances, Conner and Megan. Jimmy was very eager to show them his mustache, which he had been growing for six weeks. However, neither of them noticed anything above his lip.[2]

Jimmy was present at a press conference held by Carol Ferris and Martian Manhunter about the new Earth-Mars communication satellite.[4]

  • Jimmy Olsen is a stalwart member of Superman's supporting cast, commonly referred to as "Superman's Pal". He is a paperboy turned photographer for the Daily Planet, who has had many adventures of his own.
  • This is his twelfth animated appearance. He has appeared in Fleischer's Superman serials, The New Adventures of Superman, Ruby/Spears' Superman, Superman: The Animated Series, The Batman, Superman: Doomsday, Justice League: The New Frontier, Justice League: Crisis on Two Earths, Batman: The Brave and the Bold, All-Star Superman and Justice League: Doom.
