New York City Police Department (commonly abbrieviated to NYPD ) are responsible for upholding and enforcing the law in New York City .[1]
History [ ] 2010 [ ] A group of police and a detective working for the NYPD, were investigating the theft of the Sword of Beowulf . They were then attacked by the thief, Harm .[1]
2016 [ ] NYPD security at the United Nations tried to defend Secretary-General Tseng from Lobo , but were easily swatted away by the alien bounty hunter.[2]
2019 [ ] After being "defeated" by Infinity, Inc. in a staged fight, a control chipped Killer Frost was arrested and given an Inhibitor collar by the NYPD.[3]
The NYPD monitored a protest outside the United Nations building following accusations that Secretary-General Lex Luthor was involved in meta-human trafficking.[4]
