Green Arrow and Black Canary fought a new menace named Amazo and called for help. Superman, Batman, Captain Atom, Red Tornado, Martian Manhunter, and the Flash arrived to lend assistance. Four hours later, Amazo was defeated and disassembled.^[1]

Amazo's parts were sent to the Boston and Manhattan branches of STAR Labs for analysis. As a preventive measure, four decoy trucks were also deployed and the Team was split into two teams to safeguard the real ones. While on route, the two real trucks were attacked by Professor Ivo's MONQI's.^[2]
