Trick arrows are the chosen ammunition of Green Arrow, Red Arrow, and Artemis. Trick bolts are similar devices designed for crossbows.

Types[]

  • Bola arrow: arrows that release bolas.[1][2]
  • EMP arrow: arrows that can override the feed of security cameras.[3]
  • Explosive arrow: arrows that explode on impact.[4][3][2][5]
  • Foam arrow: arrows that can release a high-density polyurethane foam to engulf and incapacitate its targets.[4][6][7][8] or create a softer landing.[3][9][10]
  • Flash arrow: arrows that create a bright flash, blinding opponents.[11]
  • Hacking arrows: arrows that, when shot next to security cameras, allow them to be hacked to transmit a looped recording.[12]
  • Incendiary arrow: arrows that light aflame.[13]
  • Knock-out gas arrow: an arrow that ejects knock-out gas.[3]
  • Magnet arrow: an arrow that ejects powerful magnetic balls that attract metal objects.[14]
  • Net arrow: arrows that can expand into a net.[9] Some versions include a taser to shock the target.[15]
  • Oil arrow: arrows that contain a sprinkler of oil, with microbeads with built in GPS trackers.[11]
  • Pressure arrow: arrows that create a pressure wave to knock back opponents.[10]
  • Punch arrow: weighted arrows that can "punch" an opponent.[16][17]
  • Pyrotechnic arrow: arrows that explode into fireworks.[18]
  • Rocket arrow: arrows that launch self-propelled rockets.[19]
  • Smoke screen arrow: arrows that shoot out smoke.[13]
  • Taser arrow: arrows that can electrocute and knock-out armored soldiers.[3]
  • Tracer arrow: arrows that contain a tracer in the head.[9]
  • Triple rocket arrow: arrows that launch three small, guided rockets capable of hitting separate targets.[2]
  • Zip-line arrow: arrows that carry a zip-line.[3][20][9]
