Bayou Bartholomew.

Bayou Bartholomew is the largest bayou in the world, located mostly in Louisiana, though it extends into Arkansas.

History[]

2010[]

The Injustice League set up a headquarters in the Louisiana bayou for their plan to attack cities around the world with plant creatures that were enhanced with Kobra-Venom, Joker venom, mysticism and radioactive energy.[1]

The Team arrived to fight the Injustice League and destroyed their central control plant. The Justice League later arrived, ensuring the Injustice League's defeat and capture.[1]

2020[]

As Task Force X flew back to Belle Reve Penitentiary in the Manta-Flyer with a captive Clayface, they were shot down by Bowhunter Security in the Bio-Ship. A fight ensued in the bayou, ending with the Task Force's capture and Clayface's release.[2]

Madame Xanadu went to the Bayou to cast a spell searching for Superboy's spirit. Though she saw many souls reflected[3] in the water, she did not find what she was looking for, and called Zatanna with the bad news.[4]
