Alan Scott[1] was a Green Lantern and a member of the Justice Society of America.
Physical appearance

He wears a cape with a high collar and a costume that appears less form fitting than modern hero costumes. The unicolor tunic has an emblem of a classic oil lantern (not stylized as in the Green Lantern Corps) on the chest. He wears a dark domino mask to conceal his identity.

Early life

Alan Scott lived in Gotham City.[1] In 1940[2] he found a damaged and malfunctioning power ring and became a Green Lantern, albeit never affiliated with the Green Lantern Corps.[3] At some point later, he became a member of the Justice Society of America.
He, along with the other Justice Society members, have publicly accepted/inducted Red Tornado into the group with him shaking Tornado's hand in front of the press.[4]
